A different kind
of child care

The Village Break is being designed around short visits and flexible memberships rather than full-day enrollment.
Our current plan is to open three days a week, with families using care up to three times per week per child.
Final days, hours, session lengths, and availability will be announced before enrollment opens.

How it Works

First: parent-on-site care and co-working

In our proposed opening phase, a parent or legal guardian will remain in the same building throughout the child’s care session. Children will participate in supervised, play-based care while parents use a separate room to work, study, read, or take a break.

The planned parent space includes Wi-Fi and coffee. This phase is for time spent on-site; it is not a drop-off service and would not allow a parent to leave for errands or appointments. The operating arrangement and exact care-session length are still being confirmed.

Next: licensed drop-off care

After the required child care license and other approvals are in place, our plan is to offer drop-off visits of two to four hours. Parents would be able to leave the building during the reserved visit. The co-working space would remain available for families who prefer to stay.

This is a future service. We are not currently offering licensed drop-off care, accepting enrollment payments, or guaranteeing an opening date.

Reconnect and check out

Complete the required registration before the first visit and reserve care in advance. We plan to use a child care management system for reservations and check-in.

Stay in the building during the parent-on-site phase. Leaving the building would only be an option when the licensed drop-off program is operating.

Return at the end of the reserved session and follow the program’s check-out procedures.
